The Presbyterian Women's Advent Candle Lighting service from First Presbyterian Church of Watkins Glen, NY: This 25th annual service is dedicated to its founder Emily Schwab, and organizer Jackie Dill.
We continue to worship in the church building; masks are encouraged for all who attend in person, and mandatory for those who are unvaccinated. Please see wgpres.org/worship for details and restrictions.
In Order of Appearance
Scripture readings by Patti Smith, Jenny Lewis, Jackie Aman, Chris Updyke, Kaye Stamp and Wendy Drake. Music sung by Nan Woodworth, Wendy Drake, Diane Edwards, and Vicki Packer-Kosthorst; accompanied by Sarah Matthews on the piano, and Joe Orbin on the pipe organ. Thanks also to the Bowman family for their audio and video work, and to Pastor Cara for the benediction.
